Screenwriters Beat Breaks into Season 2!

The Screenwriters Beat panel of working screenwriters are at it again with the first two episodes of Season 2! In Episode #21, the panel plays Ketchup, filling us in on what they’ve been doing during their winter break. The busy bunch have been on movies sets, networking at conferences and doing what they do best — writing! In Episode #22, the panel discusses how long you can pitch a movie idea. Is there a time limit on pitching a concept? Tune in and find out.

Good News — Episode 6 is in the House!!

Screenwriters Beat has posted yet another fun, informative show about life for screenwriters that have made their start in Hollywood and are working in mid to low budget movies!

Episode 6’s main topic is Writing to a Budget. The producer’s budget. What things make a script more expensive to film, as well as a general idea of budget ranges.

Plus, do you need a Manager or an Agent? Our panel of working screenwriters weighs in on that much-asked question. (Hint: none of them currently have a manager or an agent. But all good things come in time.)
